Lightpainting

Light painting, or light drawing, is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera. (source: Wikipedia)

That means that I use the whole landscape as my canvas and a flashlight as my paint-brush. 😉

ABOUT ELASSE: long exposure art

I grew up in Colorado (U.S.A), Italy and now call Munich (Germany) home. I am an artist who loves lightpainting and everything that comes with it. I appreciate the people I meet, the places I go, the hours I keep, and the spontaneity in every shoot.

Thanks for viewing the world through my eyes — I hope you enjoy my site and the work that I’m doing. Got something for me? Get in touch.
